Cornwall’s Art Trail
This year I will be taking part in Cornwall Open Studios (COS) for the first time. I have long enjoyed this opportunity to visit artists across Cornwall, so I am thrilled to now be participating.
Cornwall Open Studios (previously named Open Studios Cornwall) is an annual art trail held at the end of May. Artists and makers all over our beautiful county welcome the public into their studios so you can meet the artist and see how we work.
My art studio visiting times
My home studio will be open to visitors every day of the event: 10am – 5pm Sat 24th May through to Sun 1st June 2025
You will get to go behind the scenes and see how I create my drawings, watch demonstrations and immerse yourself in my world of fine art portraiture. I will have a gallery display of original art, prints and cards, all available to buy, and will show you the materials I use and answer any questions you may have.
I am based in St Austell, Mid-Cornwall. Just a mile from Charlestown and the many beaches of St Austell Bay, and a 30 min drive from Truro, Bodmin and Newquay.

And as there are over 100 artists in COS this year, it is a giant art trail offering rare insights into our practices and creative worlds.
This May it is easier than ever to plan your studio visits and discover new artists, as we have an excellent interactive website where you can search by location, discipline and artist. And with every participant having very their own gallery, you can browse their work and buy direct from the artist all year round.
There is such a buzz around COS, and the organisation has been second to none, so it really is going to be the best year yet.
